 Eligibility – To receive services through Helen Farabee Center’s ECI Program, your child must:

•  Live in one of these 10 North Texas counties:    Archer, Baylor, Clay, Foard, Hardeman, Jack, Montague, Wichita, Wilbarger, or Young County
• Have a medically diagnosed condition that will likely result in a developmental delay.
• Have a developmental delay or difficulty with these skills:
Communication – language or speech
Cognitive – thinking, learning, playing, reasoning
Motor – physical development
-Gross motor, such as using large muscles, to sit up, crawl, walk.
-Fine motor, such as using small muscles, to grab small objects.
-Oral motor, such as using the mouth, to suck, chew.
Social/emotional – bonding, attachment, interactions with others
Self-help – Taking care of own needs (eating, drinking, washing hands, potty-training)
• Have an auditory or visual impairment, determined by local school district personnel

The MSU Psychology Clinic provides confidential psychotherapy and assessment for adults, adolescents, children, and families in the greater Wichita Falls area. The services provided at the Clinic are available not only to MSU students, faculty, staff, and family members but also to the North Texas community. Services are provided by graduate students in the Clinical/Counseling Psychology Masters Degree program at MSU under the close supervision of clinic faculty. All faculty supervisors have licensed psychologists.

We provide individual, family, and couples psychotherapy services for:

psychological disorders, such as anxiety and depression
adjustment and phase of life issues (e.g. divorce, family discord)
trauma
grief and bereavement
parent-child conflicts
child behavior problems
areas of behavioral medicine (e.g. increasing healthy lifestyles)

Fees:  Fees are based on the ability to pay. No insurance is accepted. For the community, fees range from $5.00 to $25.00 for psychotherapy.
